FIFA’s Club World Cup is set to run from June 15 to July 13, and betting markets suggest that French powerhouse PSG looks like the early value bet at 14/1 with Betway.

The expanded 32-team format will come with an eye-watering £775m prize pool. The winners pick up a cool £97m for four weeks of work – a figure which surpasses even that of the UEFA Champions League.
It’s a tournament that has been met with controversy amongst world football. At a time when clubs have been vocal about the excessive amount of games, this creates yet another summer where the elite will fail to get a rest.
England's captain, Harry Kane, said, “Of course it's another summer where you don't really have a break,” but conceded “There's nothing we can do about it.”
PSG Offer Value at 14/1
Nine of the 11 European clubs dominate the betting for the tournament winner. Real Madrid and Manchester City are listed as 5/1 joint favourites, but the value appears to lie in France, specifically with PSG at 14/1.
Outright Winner | Odds | Bookmaker |
---|---|---|
Real Madrid | 5/1 | BetVictor |
Man City | 5/1 | BetVictor |
Bayern Munich | 6/1 | Ladbrokes |
Chelsea | 10/1 | BetVictor |
Inter Milan | 11/1 | Betfred |
PSG | 14/1 | Betway |
The Partisans are in the midst of a bit of a renaissance with the departure of superstars Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, bringing an end to their “Galácticos” era.
They’ve qualified for the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League, with a winnable tie ahead against the Premier League’s Aston Villa and 19 points clear on their way to a 13th Ligue 1 title.
What’s strange about PSG’s Club World Cup odds of 14/1 is that they are only 10/3 – favourites – to win the Champions League, with most of the same UCL rivals represented at the Club World Cup.
A 14/1 price tag simply doesn’t stack up, and given that this young team is only going to get stronger, it looks by far and away the best of the early outright markets.
What is the Club World Cup Format?
Following the draw on December 5, 2024, FIFA announced that 32 teams would participate in the new format at 12 stadiums across the United States.
This creates eight groups of four teams in an initial round-robin, with the top two teams from each group progressing to the knockout Round of 16.
INFO
Club Leon had made the initial draw but have now been removed by FIFA as they were unable to meet multi-club criteria with another club in the tournament, CF Pachuca. A replacement will be made in due course.
Teams are represented within six coefficients: Europe, Oceania, South America, North America, Africa, and Asia.
Only Manchester City and Chelsea were selected from the Premier League.
