The weekend is upon us, with the FA Cup semi-finals and round 34 of the Premier League set to provide plenty of drama. With that comes betting opportunities and we’ve come up with a four-fold acca that could net you a profit of £425.60 from a £10 bet at bet365.

We analysed the Premier League fixtures and the FA Cup semi-finals to come up with four value bets.
Match | Kick Off Time | Market | Odds | Bookmaker |
---|---|---|---|---|
Premier League: Wolves vs Leicester | Saturday April 26, 15:00 | Total Corners: Under 9.0 | 7/4 | bet365 |
FA Cup: Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa | Saturday April 26, 17.15 | Full time result (90 minutes): Aston Villa | 6/5 | bet365 |
Premier League: Bournemouth vs Manchester United | Sunday April 27, 14:00 | Full time result: Draw | 3/1 | bet365 |
FA Cup: Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City | Sunday April 27, 16:30 | BTTS: Yes | 4/5 | bet365 |
Why do we think these bets will come home? Let’s have a look at each match.
Bet 1: Wolves vs Leicester – Under 9.0 Corners (7/4 Odds)
Wolves are in a rich vein of form, having racked up five wins in a row in a six-match unbeaten run. The last time they lost in 90 minutes was at Fulham in February. However, during this time they have won very few corners. The Molineux outfit have won only 115 corners in 33 Premier League games, an average of 3.48. In their last six matches Wolves have won only 18 corners, an average of three.
Leicester have endured a difficult season, cumulating in relegation. And their corner count reflects this. They have won only 123 corners in their 33 games, an average of 3.73.
Given the low numbers of flag kicks gained by both sides over the season and, more crucially, in recent games, we feel that 7/4 for there to be less than nine between the two sides is good value.
Bet 2: Crystal Palace vs Aston Villa – Aston Villa to win (6/5 Odds)
Aston Villa are one of the form teams in Europe with 10 wins from their last 12 in all competitions, only losing to PSG and Manchester City in that time. Unai Emery’s side might be out of Europe, but they are having a serious tilt at making the Champions League again and have their eyes on silverware in the form of the FA Cup.
Crystal Palace have also been in good form this calendar year. As well as a great run in the FA Cup they have climbed the Premier League table. However, they have only won once in their last six matches, though they do go into this semi final on the back of a morale boosting draw at Arsenal.
The Premier League meetings between the two sides this season have seen Palace take four points from Villa. However, we expect the Villains to have too much for them at Wembley. Villa’s January signings have bedded in well, leaving Emery with enviable strength in depth. We think that Villa will win in 90 minutes and 6/5 is good value.
Bet 3 Bournemouth vs Manchester United – Draw (3/1 Odds)
Bournemouth have had a great season, but the Cherries are showing signs of running out of steam, with one win in their last eight in all competitions. Four of those matches have ended in draws.
Manchester United have had a torrid campaign, especially by their standards. They have though managed some positive results lately, especially in Europe. Six of their last 11 games in all competitions have ended level after 90 minutes.
The bookies are backing Bournemouth in this one, but we feel that their recent dip in form has been overlooked, along with Man United’s ability to scrape results. We don’t think the Red Devils have enough to win, but we think a draw offers a great value bet at 3/1. You can find more detail about this in our news post.
Bet 4: Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City – BTTS Yes (11/4 Odds)
Nottingham Forest goes into this semi-final looking for their first trophy since the Brian Clough era. Their push for a Champions League place has stuttered slightly in recent weeks, but the return of Chris Wood from injury appears to have stimulated their goalscoring again and they got back to winning ways against Tottenham on Monday.
Manchester City have had an underwhelming season by their standards, and an FA Cup win represents their last chance of silverware. Pep Guardiola’s side have won four and drawn one of their last five matches as they look to combine their cup run with securing a place in the Champions League via a top five finish.
A single point separates the sides in the Premier League, though Forest has a game in hand. City won the first league meeting between the sides 3-0, while Forest won the return match 1-0. Unlike those meetings we expect both teams to get on the scoresheet. BTTS has come up in two out of the last three games for both sides and we that this will be the case at Wembley.
