Bet365 have Salah at 5/2 to join any Saudi Pro League side. With the PIF throwing silly money around and rumours swirling, is this the best punt of the transfer window?

Here at TPP, we think the 5/2 odds from bet365 are undervaluing the true probability of Salah’s move by nearly half, making this one of the most compelling and potentially profitable specials markets around.
Salah has been tipped for a Saudi switch for ages, and with the star winger admitting he's “far away” from signing a new deal at Anfield, the chances seem high.
On top of that, Saudi’s sports minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, has said he would “love” to have him in the Pro League.
With bet365 offering 5/2 odds, that’s an implied probability of 28.6% for ANY Saudi team, we think Mo might represent the best value odds of any Premier League outright going right now.
Club After Summer Transfer Window | bet365 Odds |

Any MLS Team | 28/1 |
Fiorentina | 33/1 |
Arsenal | 50/1 |
Inter Milan | 50/1 |
AC Milan | 50/1 |

Of course, Mo has been a key player in Liverpool’s dominant 2024/25 Premier League season, scoring 27 goals, and the club would love to keep him.
“Everybody wants him, including us. We of course want him to extend as well. That is clear. But I am not surprised someone wants him. He has done so many smart things in his career, so he will make the right decision for himself and hopefully for us as well.” said head coach Arne Slot when asked to comment on the Saudi interest.
Bookies are pretty confident he’s staying put. Bet365 are offering 1/3 odds on Salah to remain at Liverpool, implying a 75% chance he won’t be making the move to Saudi Arabia.
But with Mo refusing to commit, and huge stars like Ronaldo, Neymar, and Firmino already transforming the SPL, plus a reported $65 million two-season deal up for grabs, we’d say the chances are pretty much even.
